This has us scratching our own heads… so we can only visualize what this poor female is thinking after evidently having been scammed by a good impostor!
The healthcare CEO from Plano, Texas is suing Brad Pitt just for $100, 000 for apparently failing to show up to fundraising events she’s organized just for his charity, the non-profit Make It Right Basis , after she compensated him more than $40, 500 in appearance fees. There’s only one little problem: it appears the entire scam was orchestrated with a FAKE Brad Pitt impostor, who will be now in the wind with this particular woman’s $40K! WHUT?!
Kelli Christina states she paid the Showmanship star $40, 000 to produce five appearances at fundraising events promoting his (the real Brad Pitt’s) charitable organization, which has been working to benefit sufferers of Hurricane Katrina . But each time, Pitt — or, the impostor posing as the actor — would cancel his look at the very last minute, usually promising to show up “next time. ”
The complaint, filed within the Texas Eastern District Courtroom states in part (below):
“In 2018, Plaintiff Kelli Christina had been approached by Brad Pitt for your purposes of raising funds for your Make It Right Foundation, the charitable cause to advantage victims of Hurricane Katrina. Kelli Christina was confident by Brad Pitt’s display of the allegedly meritorious result in. Plaintiff and Brad Pitt because founder and director from the Make It Right Foundation created a business agreement with particular terms and conditions. Brad Pitt’s look at the events was crucial to the events, donations to become made by attendees and has been part of the agreement between Individual and Defendants. ”
According to those similar court docs first attained by DailyMail. com , things obtained even a little bit more amazing from there: the 50-year-old health care CEO claims in the girl lawsuit that she plus “Pitt” struck up the relationship and “there had been even discussions of marriage” at one point, even though they fizzled when the lady stopped paying his (bogus? ) appearance fees.
Kelli… girl… come on!!!
Is this girl really a healthcare CEO through Plano, Texas? LOLz! My apologies, we couldn’t resist! or (c) WENN/Avalon/Nicole Poturalski/Instagram
Pitt’s legal team hasn’t commented publicly on the situation, but a source close to the scenario did, telling the outlet everything is a case of wrong identity stemming from an especially egregious scam:
“This is an unfortunate case of someone who was the particular victim of an online celeb internet scam that got nothing to do with the actual celeb. Hopefully others can study from this unfortunate situation. ”
Yes, no kidding.
You’d think that at the very least, the particular “discussions of marriage” may have tipped Christina off that will she wasn’t dealing with the particular real-life A-list superstar, however alas, here we are. A female can dream, we suppose…
For now, Pitt’s attorneys (the real Pitt’s lawyers, that will is) are requesting the judge dismiss the legal action against the actor, as they are usually adamant he wasn’t associated with any way.
There are no indication Christina offers any idea who the particular scammer may be, either. We all honestly can’t even picture. What a story!!!
