2020 continues to deliver sad information.
2 and a Half Men alum Conchata Ferrell died on Monday at seventy two years old. After suffering from health problems over the last year, the experienced character actor died subsequent complications of cardiac detain, according to Deadline day .

The actress has been best known for her role because Berta the housekeeper for the CBS sitcom, but the lady had an enviable career within film and television that will included roles in Mystic Pizza , Edward Scissorhands , SER , and many others. She had been nominated for Emmys each for playing Berta As well as for her role as Leslie Bloom on LA Law .
She was also famous for her stage work, generating a Theatre Desk Award and Obie Award within 1974 for her role because Gertrude Blum in The Sea Horse . Two and a Half Guys ’s controversial top man Charlie Gloss paid homage to his co-star upon Twitter with a sweet funeral. Alongside a photo of the set on set, he had written:

Collection creator Chuck Lorre gave the statement to Deadline day , saying:
“We called the girl Chatty. And we all cherished her. Twelve years of heights and lows, and plenty of laughter. Through everything she was a rock. Among the greats. I was privileged in order to call her a friend. ”
The show’s co-lead Jon Cryer also kept in mind Ferrell in a series of content. He tweeted:
“She was an attractive human. Berta’s gruff outside was an invention from the writers. Chatty’s warmth plus vulnerability were her actual strengths. I’m crying for that woman I’ll miss, as well as the joy she brought a lot of.
I remember the girl first day on two 1/2 Men. It was our own second episode and I sensed so lucky that they’d been able to cast the girl on the show. I gushed with her about what a fan I had been of hers and she just refused to believe it.
… I’m pleased that I absolutely knew just how fortunate I was to share the stage with her. We treasured every moment and can continue to until we satisfy again. I have a feeling she’ll call me ‘Zippy’”
We will be maintaining Conchata and her household in our thoughts.
