Remember the French girl who was titled ‘the most beautiful girl in the world’? Well, let’s refresh your memory a little bit. Thylane Blondeau of Aix-en-Provence, started modeling at the tender age of 4 which led to people criticizing her parents for letting her be a part of the most controversial industry in the world. By the age of 6 she walked her first ramp walk for Jean Paul Gaultier and appeared on the cover of Vogue several times.
Blondeau received backlash when she appeared on the cover of Vogue at the age of 10. The girl was seen sporting adult clothing and makeup which ignited controversy about child sexualization in the fashion industry.
Blondeau’s mother Véronika Loubry is an actress and father Patrick Blondeau is a footballer and despite negative reactions everywhere, they’re both very supportive of their daughter’s passion for modelling.
Now 15, Blondeau is all grown up and is thriving in her modelling career. In 2015, she also appeared in a French adventure film Belle & Sebastian: The Adventure Continues.
