Bashir Aziz from Tooting, London was born with vitiligo, a skin disorder that affects the skin color leaving white patches due to lack of pigmentation. The 23-year-old was born with the condition and about 80% of his body was covered in patches including his hair. But in last few years, Aziz has noticed that his vitiligo has disappeared in some parts of his body and he’s not so thrilled about it. There’s no known cure for vitiligo which is why this is all the more surprising. “My vitiligo is different because with everyone else they start off fully pigmented or fully with their color that they are supposed to have,” Aziz explained. “In my case it’s different because I started off with vitiligo. On my skin itself, it’s affected down the middle – and my hair as well, it can affect your hair and some people don’t know that.”
