Kanye West ‘ s presidential expectations are for real. A minimum of, that’ s what these closest to the rapper think after really taking a difficult look at his life plus career goals over the past couple of years.
As you’ ll recall, the 43-year-old rapper took to Twitter within the Fourth of July vacation weekend to “ officially” mention his campaign for Leader of the United States. Yet while we (and everyone else) panned it during the time, insiders are quick to express that Yeezy is actually seriously interested in this one. Ooooookay…
According to ET , an origin close to Yeezy is dead-set on getting it across that this campaign announcement wasn’ big t a joke, saying:
“ Kanye is telling people near to him that his statement of running for leader is serious. has been toying with all the idea for a while and has already been getting more and more into national politics. ”
Uh-huh. And while that may be genuine — the fashion mogul provides certainly become more political (and religious) in his public speaking plus commentary over the years — this still takes a lot to run for that highest office in the property.
Whatever do you do in a previous existence to deserve this, Betty? LOLz! / (c) Frederick Marzullo/WENN
Still, he’ s got the assistance of his friends and family, which includes wife Kim Kardashian Western , and it’ t apparent there are even some of those in the circle who believe he might be an underrated choice to become this country’ s Leader in Chief:
“ fully support their dream to run for leader, and they feel he has a lot more to offer than what people believe. Kanye has talked to many high-powered friends over the years regarding his idea and has become their support behind closed doors. ”
Appear, it’ s cute to assume Yeezy running for Chief executive, especially against Jesse Trump about what surely would be a Celebrity Deathmatch from hell over would you battle May well Biden . And it’ d be so properly 2020 to have him toss his hat into the band. Like, honestly, why not? Exactly what else can go wrong this season?
But fact has to set in at some point, so when you actually look at the state-by-state suggestions just to get on the ballot, you begin to realize the uphill fight Kanye faces. For one, he’ d have to run being an independent candidate, considering he or she missed both the Republican plus Democrat primary seasons — not a great start. It’ s also not even crystal clear if Yeezy has submitted his paperwork with the Federal Election Commission rate declaring themself as a candidate! No documents, no ballot!
And even if he or she does all that, according to Ballotpedia , he’ s already missed sign up deadlines to appear on the ballot in Indiana, Maine, Brand new Mexico, North Carolina, and Tx for the upcoming November political election. Sure, he can still sign up in other states, but every has its own specific guidelines to get on the ballot. Plus good luck trying to do anything at all of consequence in nation-wide politics without playing big within states like Indiana, New york, and Texas. Get real, Kanye!!!
What do Oughout think, Perezcious readers? Are you currently as skeptical about this event as we are? We don’ t mean to be impolite to the man who can one day become our following President but , like, Yeezy… dude… come on. You should’ ve done all of this a few months ago! Otherwise, you’ lso are just wasting everybody’ s i9000 time with a stupid promotion stunt, and we’ ve had enough of that with all the current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!!!
