“I got the fright of my life,” the 24-year-old farmer told The Scottish Sun.
“I was on duty because the cows could drop at any time so I wasn’t drinking. I flashed my torch in the shed and saw it sitting there.”
Within minutes, the North East Police Division arrived and were ready to save the farm and public from the deadly creature. Before making a move, the police even made a call to the local zoo to check if there was a case of an escapee that they weren’t aware of. But the zoo informed them that there was no tiger missing.
The armed police officers waited for the tiger to make his move for about 45 minutes, after which they decided to move closer to see what they were dealing with. To their surprise, what they were prepared to capture was a large stuffed toy.
“In this case, they attended the area in support of the local community,” Police officer George Cordiner told the BBC.
