Recently, a grandmother from Kentucky was craving some yogurt covered cranberries and decided to go to the nearest Kroger. Grandma had no idea where to find her favorite evening dessert, so she went up to a store employee named Nathaniel Hunter, who she described as a fine young man. She asked Hunter where she would find what she needed and Hunter helped her out with a smile on his face. “I asked him if he could direct me to the item I so desired this evening,” the grandma wrote. “Instead of merely pointing me in the direction he walked me over to the trail mix machines.”

What touched her the most was that Hunter fully assisted her to get the item she needed. “He even put in the number so I could print out my barcode.” She admitted that she is not very good with technology and was touched to have met someone like Hunter. Hunter made her think of her own grandson who is nothing like him in reality.

As I was leaving the store, I couldn’t help but wish my own grandson could be more like Nathaniel. I know that’s terrible of me to say as a grandmother.
