LONG SEASIDE (CNS)—Long Beach Airport opened up a drive-thru COVID-19 examining site January. 12 available exclusively for individuals planning to fly to Hawaii and hoping to prevent a state-mandated quarantine for visitors.

The testing site is being managed in partnership with Hawaiian Airlines, providing $90 PCR tests along with results within 36 hrs. The site is open to forthcoming Hawaiian Airlines passengers would you otherwise be required by The hawaiian islands to quarantine upon introduction. Hawaii visitors can steer clear of the quarantine if they test damaging for COVID-19 within seventy two hours of their trip to the hawaiian islands.

The testing web site is open from six a. m. to two p. m. daily on the airport’s main entrance upon Donald Douglas Drive. Visits can be made online .

A second testing web site will open at the airport terminal Jan. 16, and will be available to any passenger with a solution for a flight from the airfield. That site will offer fast testing with results inside two hours.

“This is a pleasant effort to add testing convenience of the city of Long Seaside in a strategically important area, ” Mayor Robert Garcia said in a statement. “As we look ahead within 2021, Long Beach Airport terminal is well-poised to take benefit of an eventual increase in requirement for air travel . ”
