PARIS—France’s Condition Council, the country’s top court, on Sunday purchased the government to review a legislation limiting the number of people within churches during religious solutions to 30.

The Council said inside a statement that the measure had not been proportionate to coronavirus illness risks.

A week ago, the government announced that a countrywide lockdown in place considering that Oct. 30 would be unwound in phases.

Shops selling non-essential items were allowed to reopen through Nov. 28 and interior religious services were permitted to resume, but the number of worshipers was capped at thirty people, regardless of the size from the place of worship.
