70-year-old Carolyn Hartz is probably the hottest grandma in Australia and the mother-of-three recently revealed the secret to her amazing body. Her tricks are simple and she is urging every woman to give it a go. The founder of SweetLife reveals that the major reason that she has been able to maintain her body shape is the fact that she hasn’t eaten sugar in the last 28 years. She also opts for gluten-free food and doesn’t eat anything made of flour.
“A lot of women post 50 think that it’s not possible to maintain a reasonable shape and weight when they reach 50 or beyond,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
Hartz believes that maintaining portions and being mindful of what she eat plays a very important role in how she looks and feels today.
“Mindless eating can lead to unnecessary weight gain. I say to my customers ‘taste and enjoy every mouthful’… it will help you slow down and you will be less likely to overeat.”
Hartz shares gluten-free and sugar-free recipes on her Youtube channel and has recently launched her cookbook Sugar Free Baking Cookbook By Carolyn Hartz.
“I have been sugar-free for 28 years. It was difficult at first as I was a sugar addict but I believe it is one of the most important reasons I have been able to keep myself healthy and keep my body shape,” she said.
