Benjamin Keough struggled with living to the Presley family name, based on his longtime friend.

Once we reported, the son associated with Lisa Marie Presley and only grand son of late music icon Elvis Presley passed away of apparent suicide on Sunday within Calabasas, California.  

Within the wake of the tragic information, Benjamin’ s longtime buddy Brandon Howard spoke in order to People about some of the problems that plagued the late 27-year-old, telling the outlet:  

“ Sometimes he or she struggled with depression, that is a serious thing with and almost everything happening right now and everyone being locked in the house. It requires a lot. I wish I possibly could have been there. ”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Howard mentioned the pressure of being a part of the Presley family performed a big role in Benjamin’ s struggles.

He explained:  

“ That will kind of pressure is definitely a component of what happened. It’ s a difficult thing when you have a lot of stress with your family and living up to and including name and an image. It’ s a lot of pressure. It’ s almost like you’ lso are pressured into having to become a musician, having to be a good actor. It was good for your pet to go around the world and discover themself and have his own friends. You’ve got a know what triggers it. You’ve got a know… It’ s therefore random. ”

Yet despite having his own devils, Howard said Keough has been supportive of others and might always go out of his method to help a friend in require.

He noted:  

“ He has been there for everybody. In any type of situation, he would be the one that would come crash with you over the couch for weeks till you’ re actually sensation better. ”

Both first met after Mack Marie married Michael Jackson in 1994. MJ’ ersus father May well managed Brandon’ s mother, Baby, Be Mine singer Miki Howard , within the ‘ 80s. Although Mack Marie and Jackson divorced in 1996, Keough plus Howard remained friends.

All of us don’ t have everything to prove. We just reside our lives. Those who know it, these people know. ‘”

Not only is it wise beyond his many years, Keough was a talented music performer, an “ excellent gourmet, ” and a “ wonderful” human, Howard said, including:

“ He or she was super inspiring. This individual was cool and very smart, intelligent beyond his many years. He was multifaceted. Can be anywhere from serious, offering advice, to like extremely crazy and wild plus dancing and partying. This individual was a very loving individual as a brother. ”

When asked what he’ ll miss most regarding the musician, Howard said their “ laugh and his eye, ” explaining:  

“ He had the particular craziest laugh. I want individuals to know about his humility. This individual wasn’ t a rotten kid. He was really humble, very giving, really loving, especially to their friends. It’ s simply wild. There’ s nothing can beat this. ”
