Famous for being the setting of a scene in The Hangover Part II, Sky Bar is well known around Bangkok for its upscale atmosphere and amazing cocktails. It has received numerous awards such as Harper’s Bazaar, UK names Sky Bar as one of “The World’s Best Rooftop Bars” in 2014.
The Rooftop Bar – Baiyoke Sky Hotel
83 floors above the streets of Bangkok is The Rooftop Bar at Baiyoke Sky Hotel. It has a revolving observation deck, great food, and tasty cocktails. Rooftop Bar also has a great selection of wine and snacks for you to choose from.
Bluesky – Centara Grand Lad Prao
Signature cocktails and french-inspired food help this bar to stand out along with its perfect panorama view of the the Bangkok skyline. An extensive wine list and seasonal menus make this a great place to taste new, unique food.
Cloud 47 Silom – 47th Floor
Cloud 47 has a casual feel and cheaper beer than most other sky bars, making it a great place to go out with a large group and stay all night. This is also a great spot on rainy nights because is has a high ceiling.
Skytrain Jazz Club – Victory Monument BTS
Skytrain Jazz Club is popular with the locals and some foreigners in the know. Just a 5 minute walk from the Victory Monument BTS, cheap drinks and a chill vibe make this bar easy to get used to.
L’Appart Sukhumvit – 32nd Floor
Styled after a 19th century French home, this french restaurant allows you to eat and drink in the dining room, lounge, library or on the terrace. Apartment style, but is the epitome of class and ambiance.
Long Table Sukhumvit – 25th Floor
Definitely not the highest rooftop bar in Bangkok, but what it lacks in height it makes up for in taste. Beautiful food and strong drinks will make you forget this bar isn’t in the clouds as you enjoy eating at one of their cozy booths
Octave Rooftop Bar Sukhumvit – 45th Floor
Sukhumvit’s first rooftop bar features a 360 degree view of the city. Classic cocktails and gourmet food will keep you busy while you enjoy beautiful sunsets. When you finish, you’ll be near some of the cities best nightlife spots if you want to make it a late night.
Red Sky – Centara Grand at CentralWorld
Close to the Siam Paragon mall, this rooftop bar is hard to miss. Being located in one of the most affluent areas in Bangkok has made it a very popular sky bar even though it lacks a view of the river.
Scarlett Wine Bar and Restaurant
A very cozy and warm bar, Scarlett Wine Bar nearly takes up an entire level of Silom Tower’s 36th floor. Great food and drinks along with its atmosphere make this an excellent choice for a chill night.
Balco Bar – River City Shopping Complex
Soothing jazz music and laid back vibes are what makes this sky bar so popular. It has reasonably priced drinks and a friendly bartender than will make you any cocktail you can imagine.
The Roof @38 Bar at Mode Sathorn Hotel
A stylish concept and totally open air design make it perfect for clear, warm nights nights. If you want to drink when it’s raining you may want to try somewhere else.
Speakeasy at Hotel Muse Chidlom
Modelled after a 1920’s American speakeasy, this bar is classy and unique. Cool jazz music accompanies authentic and rich cocktails that are unforgettable. The Michelin Star chef in the kitchen is also making some serious gourmet food.
Zense Siam – 17th Floor
Perfect if you’re looking for a chic place to enjoy a sunset dinner. Cool and funky, you’re also right on top of Central World and getting great views of Bangkok’s busy streets. This bar also has two terraces so you can get different views of the city.
Zeppelin Bar on Sukhumvit 69
Great food at reasonable prices, Zeppelin also makes sure there are enough tables to catch the unforgettable sunset from this perfect vantage point. It’s easy to find and is only a 5 minute walk from Exit 3 of the Phra Khanong BTS Station.
Zoom Skybar at Anantara Sathorn
One of the cities newest rooftop bars, Zoom is gaining popularity by having plenty of places to chill. The unique French-Thai fusion food is delicious and so are their signature cocktails.
Distil at Lebua Tower Resorts and Hotels
While the Lebua’s Sky Bar is extremely popular, Distil has a more refined quality to it. Expertly crafted cocktails in a high class setting, Distil stands out as one of Bangkok’s most high class bars and is also one of the highest bars in the city.
The Nest – Rooftop Lounge and Bar
The nest is a centrally located rooftop bar popular with locals. Very reasonable drinks and a laid back atmosphere make it a great bar to hang out at. They also have great tapas dishes like hummus and pita.
